Jackie is in Room 721 - a very spacious room at the end of the hall. He is disconnected from all the various things except oxygen and his portable heart monitor. He doesn't have any IVs anymore. They tell us he will probably get to come home on Monday or Tuesday.

 

His color looks really good and he ate really well tonight at dinner. I think he's starting to feel more himself.

 

He's happily receiving visitors so feel free to drop by if you're near Lourdes. I think he's happy to see new faces.

 

I'm headed back to Kansas on Sunday, but I will try to continue updates. Whenever I check in by phone, I'll update this site if at all possible.
