Rehab

The heart surgeon says Jackie is doing fine. They took the pacer wires out today and he will get the chest incision staples out on Monday. Dr. O'Rourke left it up to the primary care doc whether or not to send him home.

Dr. Grumley decided some rehab would be a good idea, and we all agree - particularly Jackie, who thinks it would be too much for Mary Ann to manage at home just yet. Dr. Grumley also thinks Jackie has a little bladder infection so he's going to give him a round of antibiotics for that.

Mary Ann is opting for rehab in Paducah, barring unforeseen events. We're not sure when he will go there or the details yet, but we'll keep you updated here.
