The surgeon has been in. They had to replace the valve because it was ruptured but were able to use a valve from cow's pericardial sack so he won't have to be on blood thinner. He had about 2 litres of fluid around his heart and lungs. They could see the damage from the heart attack but there's lot of living tissue around it which is good.Things went well. They are closing him up now.
