Looking Good

Jackie is doing well. They removed the epidural for pain, the drain tube and the catheter today. His pain is managed well with just pills now. He's comfortable. They say he may get to go home tomorrow. Thanks for your continued prayer.

Jackie is doing well. He sat up for awhile today. All seems to be going smoothly.

Jackie Doing Well

Jackie is doing well. He ate almost everything at dinner and is sitting up, talking and laughing. Mary Ann is staying at the hospital tonight. All seems to be going smoothly.

Jackie Resting

Jackie is resting. He's in quite a bit of pain, but all is going well.

Room 505

They're getting ready to move Jackie to Room 505. All is going well.

Jackie is out of surgery. All went well. His heart is doing great. They got all the cancer and don't expect him to need any treatments. He'll be in recovery about an hour and will go to a regular room after that.

He is in surgery now. They've jsut taken him. They told us last week it would take one and a half to two hours.

They just let us know they haven't started surgery yet. The nurse said she will let us know when he goes into surgery. He's in the holding prep area now and she said its wild back there. They'll let us know when they start.

We are still waiting for wotd. They said surgery would take an hour and a half to two hours.

Lung Surgery

Jackie is having his pre-op work done today. Tentatively he'll be having surgery at 6 in the morning, but they are going to confirm the exact time today. If the doctor has a heart surgery in the morning, Jackie's surgery will probably be done about 11. We'll update here everytime we learn something.
